 Celebrating Academic Excellence:  Convocation Ceremony of M.Ed. Batch 2021–23 at GCTE, Thycaud


The Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, witnessed a proud and historic moment on the 27th of March, 2025, as it hosted its first-ever convocation ceremony for the Master of Education (M.Ed.) students of the 2021–2023 batch. The grand event took place at the UGC Hall, which was adorned in an atmosphere of joy, nostalgia, and academic pride. Students, faculty, and dignitaries gathered in full spirit to celebrate the culmination of an enriching academic journey. The ceremony was not just a farewell, but a tribute to the dedication, perseverance, and scholarly achievements of the outgoing students who are now poised to become torchbearers in the field of education.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Sri. Sudhir K, IAS, Director of Collegiate Education, whose inspiring address left a lasting impression on the graduates. In his speech, he highlighted the evolving responsibilities of educators in a fast-changing world and encouraged the graduates to be transformative leaders who uphold the values of equity, innovation, and compassion in education. His words of wisdom resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the vital role of educators in shaping a progressive society.
