Holi Celebration 2025

A Splash of Joy: Holi Celebrations at GCTE Thycaud by Tathya College Union

The vibrant festival of Holi came alive at the Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, on the 14th of March 2025, as Tathya College Union hosted an unforgettable celebration. The campus transformed into a canvas of colors, echoing with laughter, music, and the spirit of unity. Students, faculty, and staff gathered together, breaking the monotony of academic routine to embrace the joy, playfulness, and cultural richness that Holi brings. The entire event was a testament to the vibrant student culture that Tathya Union continues to nurture.

The celebrations began with a formal inauguration by the Principal, who spoke about the importance of cultural festivities in educational institutions. As colors filled the air, it wasn’t just the gulal that made the event beautiful—it was the shared smiles, camaraderie, and the enthusiastic participation of every individual present.

Tathya Union ensured that the event was both entertaining and safe. Organic colors were used throughout the celebration to promote eco-friendly practices. Refreshments, water stations, and a medical booth were arranged thoughtfully, highlighting the union's commitment to responsible event planning. The crowd energized, and the open-air color play zone became the most loved space of the day, where students celebrated without inhibitions.

As the sun began to set, the colors faded from faces but remained etched in everyone’s memories. The Holi celebration at GCTE Thycaud was more than just a festive gathering—it was a powerful expression of unity in diversity, joy in community, and the strength of student leadership. Tathya College Union once again proved its ability to bring people together through well-orchestrated, heartwarming events that will be remembered for years to come.
