Green Steps Forward: A Memorable World Environment Day 2025 Celebration Govt. College of Teacher Education, Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with OISCA International Trivandrum Chapter and the Eco Club, hosted a vibrant and meaningful celebration on June 5, 2025, marking World Environment Day with the global theme # BeatPlasticPollution . The event featured an insightful presentation by Anannya Das on the topic "Beat the Plastic" , followed by a creative Poster Making Competition that showcased the environmental awareness and artistic talents of students. The highlight of the programme was the inauguration of the Save Green Club , a new eco-initiative aimed at nurturing a culture of sustainability among future educators.
